·       Eye rolling:

This exercise requires you to roll your eyes and can be performed anytime. Roll eyes in clockwise direction for few minutes. Then, take a break to roll eyes in anti-clockwise direction and repeat it 5 times.

·       Palming:

This exercise helps provide relief to eye strain while boosting eyesight. Rub palms together and generate heat. Place palm gently against eyes for couple of seconds. Repeat the process 5-7 times. If finding problem with your eyes, check with a qualified optometrist.

·       Blinking:

It is generally something that is done naturally. However, continued watching of smartphone and computer screens may permit less blinking. This can be harmful for your eyes. Stare at any blank wall before you. Close eyes for about two seconds. Open your eyes and rapidly blink for 5 seconds and repeat the process 5-7 times.

·       Refocus:

This exercise is recommended to those who are required to work on their computer screens for a long time. In-between work, look away and try to focus on some far objects. Then see your palm and start focusing on the distant object. You need to repeat it five times.

·       20-20-20 rule:

This is a common prescribed by the top optometrist to those watching their smartphone, TV or computer for prolonged hours. You need to look about 20 ft. away for 20 seconds after every 20 minutes.

Useful tip to follow

You need to consume healthy antioxidant-rich diet like egg yolks, leafy greens, sweet potato, pepper, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potato, etc. Remember, your eyes are important and it is your duty to protect it.
